I attended Pratishtha’s Work Connect workshop in July 2021, received valuable tips for looking for a job in New Zealand. Next month, I got a lecturer job at the Western Institute of Technology Taranaki (WITT). Isn’t awesome? It was a career change from construction manager to construction management lecturer. She has a magic touch! I strongly recommended that to contact her if you want a dream job, she can guide you.

Pratishtha is the most experienced out of the five career coaches that I have worked with in New Zealand. I attended three workshops led by Pratishtha when she was working for Work Connect where I realized how much understanding, expertise and sympathy she has for professional migrants jumping through hurdles and falling into potholes to find a suitable job in New Zealand. I admire how she shows genuine care for the well-being of her students.
I finally found a job after 6 months of job hunting using the techniques taught by Pratishtha and the other amazing career coaches working together with Pratishtha in Work Connect. Pratishtha shared effective techniques to access the non-advertised/hidden job market where 70% of the jobs are from. I am confident that Pratishtha will succeed in her future endeavour as Founder of EduventureNZ and Pratishtha can get in touch with me anytime if I can be of help or a social catch up as a friend if she is in Wellington.
My advice for future international students coming to New Zealand is to speak with an experienced career coach like Pratishtha before you begin your New Zealand education adventure. You will be surprised when you realize your expectation is often very different from the reality. New Zealand is a beautiful country with many opportunities but you must get advice from an experienced career coach like Pratishtha so you pick the right education from the right institution/polytechnic/university that suits your background and is also in high demand to increase the probability of receiving New Zealand residency.

I recently attended an outstanding Eduventure NZ workshop led by Pratishtha, and it was an invaluable experience. The workshop focused on addressing the realities of the New Zealand job market for immigrants and what newcomers can expect when settling here.
Pratishtha’s guidance was practical, insightful, and deeply empathetic to the challenges that immigrants often face. She provided clear strategies for job searching, adapting resumes to New Zealand standards, and understanding the nuances of local workplace culture. More than just job hunt tips, Pratishtha also discussed the emotional aspects of the immigrant journey, preparing us for both the highs and challenges of integrating into a new community.
One of the standout aspects of this workshop was how tailored it felt to our unique needs as immigrants. Pratishtha delivered real-world advice, answered specific questions, and fostered an encouraging environment for open discussion.
Honestly, I wish I’d had access to this workshop before I arrived in New Zealand. It would have made my transition much smoother and less daunting. I recommend Eduventure NZ and Pratishtha’s sessions to any new arrival—you’ll walk away feeling better informed, empowered, and optimistic about your future here.

The Hidden Job Market workshop was a truly refreshing perspective on how to go about searching for that next career breakthrough! And it definitely left me in a more optimistic frame of mind than when I joined the call this morning. Highly recommended for those seeking clarity on how to go about job search in New Zealand.

I truly admire Pratishtha—she’s an expert in her craft! I enjoyed every part of the Eduventure workshops, from learning about cultures and communication to understanding how to navigate the New Zealand market.
What I appreciated most is that she doesn’t teach from textbooks – she teaches from real-life experience. It finally made sense to me why volunteering and gaining Kiwi experience are so important here, even if you already have years of experience from your home country.
I lost count of how many “aha” moments I had, but one thing is clear: the Eduventure workshop is absolutely worth attending and shouldn’t be missed, especially for those starting their journey in NZ.
More importantly, Pratishtha is an amazing person and it truly reflects in the way she conducts her workshops.
Teshani Rajaguru

I had the opportunity to attend Pratistha’s sessions on both days, and I have nothing but the utmost respect for her. She shared her personal story with us and created a safe, comfortable space where we could open up freely.
Throughout the sessions, she encouraged us to find courage and reminded us that we don’t always have to suffer in silence. She constantly uplifted our spirits when we felt low and guided us to discover our inner voice. She also taught us how to present and market ourselves so that we can become better versions of who we are.
Pratistha made sure that each one of us left the session feeling stronger, more hopeful, and with a renewed determination to never give up. She also helped us identify our gaps, showed us how to face the job market, and even gave us valuable insight into the hidden job market, something many of us weren’t aware of before.
Her sessions were truly inspiring and empowering, and I’m grateful I got to be a part of them. I truly believe it would benefit students greatly if they had the chance to experience her sessions before coming here.
